Hammerhead reaffirms its commitment to the facilities business in the North West with the purchase and development of a band new 4000 sq ft premises in South Manchester.
Our new premises boast an increased range of facilities, including:
- Dedicated broadcast engineering service for clients.
- Fully equipped test room for drama and commercial setup.
- Knowledgeable staff with a wealth of experience of drama and documentary.
- Full range of broadcast camera equipment available.
- Easy to find - located next to the South Manchester Studios close to the M60 and Manchester airport.

| Familiar Faces in our new North-West Facility |

John Dardis – Operations and Technical Manager
John is a well know figure in the television business in the North-West, having joined Hammerhead as Technical Manager 2005 from the former VFG group. He has worked on major TV programmes and feature films including 28 Days Later, 51st State, Mersey Beat, Buried, and Shameless series 1, 2 & 3. John has over twelve years experience in the facilities business and is now in charge of both the technical and operation management in our Manchester branch. He brings his experience and expertise to a very wide range of productions including drama, reality TV and documentaries. |
Peter Hewart – Head of Camera Engineering
With over 30 years experience, Peter is a well respected engineer in the broadcast industry. He has extensive experience in maintaining and repairing cameras, VTRs, monitors etc. Peter is based in Manchester with full engineering test facilities and is well known amongst cameramen based in the North West for his informative and friendly advice with camera set ups. He has worked across a multitude of programming including both high end drama productions and feature films. |

Combining an MEGA Masters in Audio-Visual Management and over three years experience at Hammerhead, Emma supervises all the bookings and the kit movements.
Graham Swift – Bookings Assistant
Graham joined Hammerhead from Sumners Post, with a wealth of experience. Scheduling kit and resources is second nature to him. |
