Trainee Bookings Assistant (Manchester)
About the Role
This position offers the ideal opportunity to develop your equipment knowledge and business skills within the technical environment of broadcast television.
Main duties include:
- Assist the bookings team with equipment scheduling.
- Assist the bookings team with project planning.
- Administration based duties including quotations and associated processing of hire contracts through to final costing.
About You
The ideal candidate will require some experience within television facilities, production or ahire company and have an enthusiasm for knowledge of broadcast equipment. Strong organisational skills and an ability to handle paperwork and general administration generated by the growing business from this office are qualities vital for this job. Good common sense and people skills along with the ability to work well in a team are also essential to this post.
Details
Whilst the position is essentially a junior trainee role the salary will be dependent on experience.

Applicants must be 21+, hard working, flexible and have a good level of common sense.
A basic knowledge of broadcast equipment is desirable but not essential.
This position requires applicants to have held a clean driving licence for at least 12 months, which is essential.

Technical Coordinator (London)
Main duties include managing and coordinating camera equipment preparation and stock allocations, supervising staff technicians whilst working closely with the bookings team and assisting the in-house project managers.
This role offers the ideal opportunity to develop your management potential within the technical environment of broadcast television, with the potential of promotion to a Technical Manager position based on abilities and skill set.
The successful applicant will require a good technical knowledge of broadcast camcorder technology and must have obtained a minimum of three years experience within a facilities company or in house camera department. Good common sense and people skills along with the ability to work well in a team are also essential to this post.
