Sony DVW 522
The Sony DVw 522 is the original Digi Beta player that outputs a composite signal. Many have been modified to have time code out on a separate BNC and some to have RS422 edit control interface on a 9 pin D type connector. It is a full size machine taking large and small size tapes, and as long as Digi Beta is used there will be a use for them, being almost indestructible except in the event of a flow of coffee through the ventilation grills.
