The Panasonic AJ-HD1400 is a DVCPRO HD VTR in a cost-effective, lightweight package. Capable of playing back all broadcast level HD, as well as both DVCPRO 50 and 25 standard definition formats, make it an indispensable asset for a wide range of professional applications and workflows.
The AJ-HD1400 can perform both HD/SD up-down conversion, as well as 720/1080 cross conversion, providing users with the added flexibility necessary for broadcast recording and delivery. From field acquisition to nonlinear editing, this VTR provides a compact all-in-one solution that simply gets the job done.
The AJ-HD1400 can handle all formats for 1080 and 720 high definition signals. It can also playback 1080/24p (23.98) offered from the AJ-HDX900 DVCPRO HD camera. Additionally, the built-in cross conversion technology makes it simple when going between both resolutions.
The AJ-HD1400 is capable of outputting digital signals both over FireWire (IEEE 1394) and HD-SDI. FireWire transmission is perfect for ingesting directly to nonlinear editing workstations using programs such as Final Cut Pro and Avid.
