Sony DVW 790 Camcorder
The Sony DVW 790 camcorder has become the standard workhorse for TV drama and documentary based on the legacy of DVW700 the original Digital Betacam. Picture quality and in particular the digi beta record format are a cut above what is available in the DV/DV Cam based formats. The pictures stand up to blue-screen and layering in editing and the overall quality matches up well with TV transmission until when we are all watching HD at home.
