Arri HMI 575, 1.2 and 2.5
Arri HMI lights are medium weight daylight producing lamps that require a mains driven ballast with a thick cable to the head to power them. The great thing about them is that they produce a lot of daylight quality light for their size which can be controlled by the flood and spot mechanism and the focussing Fresnel lense. They are often used to imitate sunlight. The 575 housing is based on the tungsten 650w housing and therefore very transportable. The 2.5K is a large light which requires a heavyweight stand.
